Workshop
Gathering and Preparing Plants
Explanation
This workshop is a comprehensive and special version of the Workshop Finding Edible Plants. It is not necessary to have followed it beforehand. Some of the edible plants that we find, we will also collect and prepare. Depending on the season, we collect leaves, flowers, stems, berries, roots, seeds and nuts. (The plants that we collect are the "very common species.") Of course, we prepare and eat what we have managed to gather in a primitive way, in the woods. During the collection of the plants we also reflect on the "leave no trace" concept. During this relatively long workshop you will discover that with the right knowledge and experience, you will be able to make a versatile plate full of 'bush food'.
